On the 27th of November 2020 during the 7th joint ALADIN Assembly & HIRLAM Council, 25 among the 26 NMS Members of the ALADIN, LACE and HIRLAM consortia signed the ACCORD Memorandum of Understanding and AEMET signed in July 2021.

On the 7th July 2025, the 10th ACCORD Assembly approved the texts for the MoU2 for the second phase of ACCORD (2026-2030).
